Emma VanDongen is a digital media professional specializing in video production, motion graphics, live broadcasting, and social media content creation. She currently works as the Digital Content Administrator at Discover You™, where she develops video and multimedia content designed to educate, inspire, and engage audiences across multiple platforms.
In her role, Emma manages all stages of the production process. Her work includes creating promotional and event highlight videos, educational content, and social media assets. She also produces content for the Discover You™ Community, a virtual learning platform focused on training and supporting adults who work with youth.
Alongside her digital media work, Emma is entering her fourth season as part of the production crew for the Great Lakes Loons. Throughout her time with the organization, she has gained experience in all areas of live sports production, including camera operation, replay systems, broadcast setup, and directing live game coverage. Most recently, she has served as the director for home game broadcasts featured on Bally Sports Live, MiLB.tv, and WNEM-TV5.
In addition to her professional work, Emma continues to expand her portfolio by documenting local high school sports and community events. She recently partnered with Meridian Public Schools to create video content supporting their May 2026 bond proposal campaign, where she gained valuable experience in storytelling, marketing planning, and community-focused content creation.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys bowling, golfing, attending live events, and spending time with family and friends. She also coaches high school bowling during the winter season and is an active member of Midland MYPros, where she continues building professional connections and staying engaged with her local community.
